Brent entered the craft brewing scene in 2010 working for R&B Brewing in Vancouver. He had a short stint at the Siebel Institute in Chicago and continued as the production manager at R&B until the end of 2012. In Early 2013 Brent and his family planned and built out what would become Four Winds Brewing. In June of that year, Four Winds opened its doors to the public in Delta BC. Four Winds had a sudden impact on the BC brewing scene with early Brett and barrel-aged beers. Brent and his team experimented with red wine and tequila barrels and the addition of local fruit in the first couple years. In 2015 Four Winds expanded its wood and funk production with the addition of 8 40HL French oak Foeders, with plans to add more in the coming years.
