Richard Preiss is one of the co-founders of Escarpment Laboratories, an Ontario-based yeast and lab service provider for breweries Canada-wide. He earned his BSc. in Microbiology and MSc. in Molecular Biology & Genetics, both from the University of Guelph. Richard heads up the quality control and research & development operations at Escarpment Labs, aiming to help Canadian breweries make the highest quality beer, and also offer new flavours to the Canadian beer scene.
